Charles Pickelsimer, our company’s co-founder started his career as a mechanic and a trained machinist. His early career took him through both large industrial plants and small shop environments. As he did, he continued to learn more about the machine tool industry. He began to notice that most of the machines that needed rebuilding or intense maintenance were being sent far out of state for this service. He saw that there was a need for someone here in the local area that could perform these.

From this experience and some help they started Machinery Maintenance & Rebuilders, Inc in 1976. They worked hard, part time for the first two years growing the business, before going full time in 1978. Fifty years later we are still providing these services to many different types of industry. We work on both small and large equipment from large plants to your local backyard shops. We offer our knowledge and desire to help you with your next project.
